On February 19, arch rivals Kimbo Slice and Dada 5000 fought in the co-main event of Bellator 149. The bout was built up as a "Dawg Fight" between the former street fighters. Unfortunately, the matchup was terrible. Fans were expecting a first round knockout, but the fight turned out to be a 3-round snooze fest. Both Kimbo and Dada 5000 were gassed from the very first round, and neither fighter had enough energy to throw a meaningful power punch.

Towards the end of the third round, Dada 5000 collapsed after a barrage of weak punches from Kimbo. After the horrendous battle, Dada 5000 collapsed, and was taken out of the cage on a stretcher. He was then rushed to the nearest hospital. It was later revealed that Dada was actually dying during is fight with Kimbo Slice.

Billy Corben, a long time friend of Dada 5000, recently made a statement.

"As it turns out, he was dying, his body was shutting down during that fight, having nothing whatsoever to do with his fight training, but with his nutrition and dietary issues.

Corben continued,

"Even as his body was completely betraying him and shutting down, Dada's fists never stopped trying to move toward Kimbo Slice."

The official statement from medical experts is that Dada 5000 suffered from dehydration, fatigue, and renal failure. Nonetheless, his fight with Kimbo Slice was horrible, but I guess he deserves some credit for making it to the end of the bout in his condition.
