UFC Fighter And Model Paige VanZant Wants A WWE Run

Ever since Ronda Rousey and the Four Horsewomen sat in the front row at SummerSlam in 2014, people have speculated as to if and when the former UFC champ would join the WWE. Rousey is one of the biggest stars in the world and a marriage with WWE would seem perfect, but she's not the only MMA fighter with eyes on the squared circle.

Paige VanZant is a former strawweight competitor in UFC who makes her flyweight debut on Jan. 14 at UFC Fight Night 124. She is also a former model and has expressed interest in a possible WWE run. VanZant has a 7-3 record in MMA and isn't considered nearly the fighter that Rousey was, so she is considering a turn to professional wrestling in the near future.

"I would love to (do) something with the WWE, they are an amazing organization," VanZant said on the TSN MMA Show. "Obviously, it's my love; I love some of the looks behind it, I love everything they do with these girls. It's about being beautiful and badass and I think that's something that I emulate as well and I would love to show off. So, yeah, hopefully that opportunity does come up."

VanZant certainly has the look that WWE prefers with their Women's Superstars and she already has a wrestling-esque nickname in "12 Gauge." VanZant is a grappler by trade in the octagon and also boasts a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but one would think she could adeptly transition to professional wrestling.

At just 23 years old, VanZant has plenty of time to make the jump to WWE either now or later. But she also has lots of other interests so when she says she wants "to do something" with WWE, perhaps she means just a one-off match or appearance. In addition to modeling and the UFC, she has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars and Chopped. VanZant also plans on releasing an autobiography in 2018.

Rousey is still the primary option for WWE when it comes to current/former UFC fighters, but Paige VanZant is someone to keep an eye on which is something most men won't have a problem with.
