Is "The King of Ireland" cracking?
UFC 189: "Mendes vs. McGregor" weigh-ins took place in front of a raucous Las Vegas crowd last night, but it was a melee backstage that has everyone talking.
In what first looked like a friendly greeting, Conor McGregor, who takes on short-notice replacement Chad Mendes for the interim featherweight title at UFC 189 later this evening, was greeted by the Alpha Male product's teammate, Urijah Faber.
Both fighters looked as if they were playing around until the Irishman started grappling with the "California Kid." Both men exchanged a few words and were separated by bystanders.
Faber looked puzzled by the whole ordeal, but still smiled for cameras when it was all said and done.
