Jon Jones has been suspended from the UFC since his alleged hit-and-run back in April, but that hasn't stopped the former light-heavyweight champ from helping others prepare - including Ronda Rousey's next foe, Holly Holm.
And according to Holm's coach, Brandon Gibson, Jones has "been helping Holly Holm a ton." "Jon is a leader and he inspires the team and we just try to do the same for him. We try to inspire him wherever we can. He's getting stronger ever day."
"Jon is very creative and [Mike] Winkeljohn has been grooming Holly since she was a teenager." "Him and Greg [Jackson] and Coach Izzy [Martinez] have put in a lot of work with Holly. I think Jon just brings a different perspective and a different view, whether it's technically or the mental aspect of it, to help prepare our sister for this championship fight and to take this title."
On November 14th in Melbourne, Australia at UFC 193 we will get to see how much help Jones, and all of Holm's coaches and trainers, have been when she steps into that octagon across from the most-dominant MMA fighter in the world.
