Moustache Mountain's Tyler Bate and Trent Seven are the new NXT UK Tag Team Champions! Bate and Seven ended the reign Pretty Deadly (Lewis Howley & Sam Stoker) on the latest edition of NXT UK, which was actually taped on November 17 at WWE's UK Performance Center in London, England.

The match was fast-paced and fun, as you'd expect from two of the most exciting tag teams on WWE's developmental roster. If it hadn't taken place in front of an actual crowd, there's no doubt that the match would have elicited palpable excitement. The finish came when Bate pinned Howley after hitting both members of Pretty Deadly with a Spiral Tap. Seven and Bate embraced each other in celebration after the bell.

The win marks the beginning of Moustache Mountain's first reign as NXT UK Tag Team Champions. As you might recall, the duo briefly held the NXT Tag Team Championship after defeating Undisputed Era's Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong at WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament in 2018, but lost the gold two days later at Full Sail.

Pretty Deadly won the NXT UK Tag Team, Championship from Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) on the February 2 edition of NXT UK. Howley and Stoker's reign was as memorable as any title reign on NXT UK can be, and it's clear that the two men have a bright future ahead of them. They're both solid in the ring, but in terms of character work and gimmick, they absolutely understand the assignment which is why they've been one of the highlights of NXT UK in 2021.

Both Tyler Bate and Trent Seven have had very strange WWE careers. They've been involved with the company for over five years, but are still lingering in development. They both seem content with their current roles, but they are definitely too good for NXT UK -- no offense to NXT UK, but ya know.
