The Philadelphia 76ers could still be on the hunt for players after snagging Jimmy Butler in a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves on the weekend.

The team gave up one of their best three-point shooters in Robert Covington to get the deal over their line and there are concerns that their outside shooting will suffer, considering their current starting guards can't shoot. Dario Saric, another dependable scorer from range, has also made the switch to The Timberwolves.

Butler will obviously knock buckets down from mid-range and from beyond the arc. But Philly would be wise to bring a specialist in and it would appear that they are keen to do just that.

According to The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor, the Sixers have reignited their interest in Cleveland Cavaliers veteran Kyle Corver.

Butler's arrival is likely to improve the side, who will now be able to boast a Big Three of their own. However, there is a need for floor spacing, with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid requiring it to operate efficiently - and their latest addition is about the same.

JJ Redick and Landry Shamet are still around and will be helpful on that front. Yet the team could find things a bit more difficult after losing the players they traded.

Korver actually began his career in Philadelphia after getting drafted by the New Jersey Nets in 2003. His rights were immediately traded to the 76ers and he spent four years playing there before heading to the Utah Jazz.

Now 37, Korver remains a deadly shooter from beyond the arc. He's currently shooting 38.7 percent from range this season but the Cavs are looking to oust their veteran stars in favor of younger players and he could be made available.

There are a few other options out there for Philly, though. According to The Ringer's report New York Knicks shooting guard Courtney Lee could also be available, while Trevor Ariza could exit Phoenix, with the Suns also said to be leaning towards youth.

Ariza would actually be a perfect fit for the Sixers. The 33-year-old is a spot-up shooter but can also create for himself and is one of the NBA's best defensive players. However, he seems the most difficult to acquire of the three.
