WWE is currently running a poll asking who fans would like to see return for Evolution and AJ Lee is winning by a landslide.

WWE has been making history in a number of ways when it comes to the company's females over the past few years. This past Monday on Raw, Vince McMahon, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon made the biggest leap forward of all. On October 28, 2018, the promotion will hold its first ever all-female pay per view, WWE Evolution.

A number of details about what we can expect from the show have already been revealed. Every women's title in WWE will be defended, so the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Championships. The final of the Mae Young Classic will also take place at the PPV. Plus, a number of legends will be returning for Evolution including Beth Phoenix, Trish Stratus, and Lita.

Those three Hall Of Famers won't be the only women from the past we see on the show, and WWE recently ran a poll asking fans who else they would like to see at Evolution. The poll gives fans twelve different options which include women from various eras in the company's history. The likes of Stacy Keibler, Alundra Blayze, Summer Rae, and Molly Holly. None of those four are currently winning the poll though.

As it stands there is one former WWE female that fans clearly want to see more than any other, and that woman is AJ Lee. The former Divas' Champion currently has a staggering 69% of the votes. Even though you can still go to WWE.com and vote in the poll there is no catching AJ Lee at this point. Her closest rivals are Phoenix and Kelly Kelly who each have 5% of the votes right now.

A lot of the women in the poll will likely be present at WWE Evolution but sadly, the likelihood of AJ Lee being on the show is highly unlikely. It's actually quite surprising that she was included in the poll at all. Lee is married to CM Punk who has only just finished up a lawsuit with WWE doctor, Chris Amann. Plus, when the former WWE Superstar left the company three years ago it was partly down to a build-up of injuries and she has not wrestled since. We can still hope though and you can never say never in wrestling.
