AJ Styles second reign as WWE Champion has now surpassed 100 days following his Fastlane win making him the eleventh member of a prestigious club.

At Fastlane, on Sunday night AJ Styles had to defend his title against five other men. If he won that match then the dream match that fans are dying to see at WrestleMania against Shinsuke Nakamura would finally be official. Lucky for those of us who do want to see that match The Phenomenal One overcame the odds and is still our WWE Champion.

It wasn't easy going for Styles either. Long before the end of the match, John Cena lifted the champ onto his shoulders and delivered an Attitude Adjustment to him from the top of one announce table and through another. That rendered Styles out of action for pretty much the rest of the match before he mustered up enough energy to return to the ring and win.

Styles retention of the WWE Title means that he is now part of a very exclusive club. The Phenomenal One has now passed the 100-day mark during his second reign. His first reign also lasted longer than 100 days and he is now just the 11th WWE Superstar in the company's history to have all his title runs with the championship last longer than 100 days, according to WWE Stats & Info.

It gets even more impressive than that though. Only three Superstars in WWE history have had multiple reigns with the WWE Championship that have all lasted longer than 100 days. Bruno Sammartino, Randy Savage, and now AJ Styles. That is some pretty impressive company to keep by anyone's standards. If Styles wants to remain in that three-man club though if and when he wins the title for the third time he will have to keep hold of it for another 100 days.

This is just the latest in a long line of accomplishments that AJ Styles has managed to achieve during his still relatively short time as a WWE Superstar. It has only been a little more than two years since The Phenomenal One made his debut for WWE yet it feels like he has been there his entire career. It really is hard to imagine a WWE without him at this point and Vince McMahon is likely kicking himself for not picking him up sooner.
