Seth Rollins has emerged as the top babyface on Monday Night Raw in 2019, and he's learned that with great power comes great responsibility.

The Architect has emerged as one of the top leaders in the WWE locker room, often coming to the defense of his company and fellow superstars. In fact, Rollins and Roman Reigns are supposedly "leading the charge" in the locker room as WWE prepares for a war against AEW.

In an interview with Sporting News, AJ Styles was asked about his thoughts on Rollins defending WWE. The Phenomenal One made it clear that he stands by the man who defeated him in a Universal Championship match at Money in the Bank.

"I totally understand where he's coming from. We're out there doing trying our best to entertain everyone to the best of our ability...Everybody wants to do that. You can't do that...

Either you enjoy it or you don't. Regardless, you're making a show about it weekly, so something must be going right. Somebody is doing something right.

We want to entertain. We want to do our best, so it's aggravating when not only do we know some things don't go the way that we like, then we have to hear it from somebody else."

Rollins has often come to WWE's defense on social media, responding to Twitter trolls and critics. His former Shield counterpart, Dean Ambrose (now Jon Moxley), has ripped the WWE numerous times since joining AEW.

Well, Rollins has clapped back at Moxley's comments - going as far as to saying "it's a little presumptuous of him to get on a podcast and talk down about the company that gave him such an opportunity." It was later suggested by Dave Meltzer that Rollins was practically speaking on the half of the WWE chairman.

Rollins, along with Reigns, hasn't been afraid to take shots at AEW. In a recent conference call, The Architect vowed that WWE would "knock them dead," while referring to Moxley as "competition and trying to take dinner off my table."

The WWE locker room simply has to be all-in here if they want to stay ahead of AEW as the war starts to heat up. Rollins and Reigns have asserted themselves as capable leaders here, and as long as they're continuing the steering of the ship over the long haul, things will stay afloat backstage.

What This Means

As long as Rollins has the support of the WWE locker room, he'll continue to be the voice of reason for Vince McMahon and co. WWE needs its top leaders to step up big while AEW continues to rise, and Rollins and Reigns are up for that. Simply put, everything is looking up for WWE right now.
