WWE teased that Ricochet's next rivalry will be with AJ Styles at Stomping Grounds, and we won't have to wait long to see them clash.

For the most part, WWE's first ever Stomping Grounds PPV was a huge success. We saw some terrific in-ring action on Sunday night. The cage match between Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston, Alexa Bliss and Bayley's battle for the SmackDown Women's Title, and Daniel Bryan and Rowan furthering their quest to put tag team wrestling back on the map alongside Heavy Machinery.

However, now that the dust has settled, we have decided what was our favorite match of the night. Ricochet versus Samoa Joe for the United States Title. We thought this would be the match of the night going into this show, and the two Superstars did not disappoint. What's more, we even got a title change at the end of it.

STOMPING GROUNDS 2019: RICOCHET WINS THE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP

Directly after the match, our first thought was that we were about to see a series of matches between Joe and Ricochet. Perhaps even more matches between Ricochet and Cesaro but now with a title in the mix. However, a little later on in the evening we were shown exactly what WWE has planned for the new champion, and it involves neither Joe nor Cesaro.

While posing for a photo shoot with the US Title, Ricochet was approached by Gallows & Anderson. The tag team was closely followed by AJ Styles. The trio tried to force Ricochet to throw up The Club's hand gesture for his photos and even posed for a few with him, although the champ didn't look happy about it. Afterward, Styles told Ricochet he would see him the following night on Raw.

At the time, that obviously could have meant anything. However, WWE has now confirmed that Styles and Ricochet will go one on one tonight on Raw. The title won't be on the line, but that doesn't mean we are any less excited. We were treated to some terrific wrestling at Stomping Grounds and if this match is anything to go by, that trend will continue on Raw tonight.
