Aleister Black hopped on Thea Trinidad's Twitch channel and talked about a number of topics related to his WWE career and his release from the company on Wednesday. Saying he's not angry or bitter with WWE, Black was thankful for a lot of things and said "it was a shame it had to go this way".

He noted he’s thankful to Vince McMahon, Triple H, Bruce Prichard, Paul Heyman and others in WWE for the opportunities they gave him and did acknowledge that Heyman really did go to bat for him in WWE. He talked about the talent he's grateful for and who he's learned from, citing Roman Reigns as a great locker room leader and said the Usos were fantastic.

He say he'll be on Twitch a lot more often, keeping fans in the loop about his future plans. He also dropped a few news nuggets just hours after being told he was being let go by his employer due to budget cuts.

Misinformation About Vince's Opinion Of Him

Black discussed the misconceptions about his WWE run and false news that was out there he and WWE, specifically he and Vince McMahon had any sort of tenuous relationship. He admits the 7 months away from the product didn't help his momentum at all and that it was only supposed to be him out for 6-8 weeks, but that's the way things go.

Black took a few shots at wrestling journalists saying not to believe most of what you read and that asking for subscribers probably won't get you much inside information, and he cited false reports about his wife Zelina Vega, misinformation about his request to go back to NXT being shot down or that Vince was ever not in his corner or a fan. He noted that people aren't on the inside of the conversations these wrestlers have with WWE and creative and suggested things weren't ever bleak when it came to his WWE career.

An Aleister Black Return to NXT

Black did confirm that he pitched an NXT return and said he was told WWE loved the idea of him going back there. But, they wanted to try something else first, which is likely where the origins of his new Tales of the Dark Father gimmick came from. He was really surprised that he was let go in the midst of all of his build up and that he only knew that he and Big E were going to go at each other and that the program was to begin this Friday on SmackDown.

It sounds like there were more vignettes produced and that he had filmed some footage himself that he was offering up to WWE to use. Clearly, that he was let go as the company was still heavily involved in the creative for his new character was a shock.

Black's New Theme Music

He noted that he had just created a new song for his character and was bummed that fans didn't get to hear it. He thought it was the best one so far. He figures WWE will use it on someone else, but the new song was his favorite. The song included an old riff from the first song, but with a new orchestral theme that had pianos and other cool stuff.

Who He Wants to Work With

Black says he's not even close to being finished with the wrestling business and says he eats, sleeps and breathes the industry and that he's got lots of things left to do. He's thought about opening a wrestling school and that he's looking forward to working with certain stars again, calling Andrade a talented mother f-----.

He will 100% make new characters and find different things to do creatively. He's not planning on bringing back any old characters when he debuts about wherever else he shows up.

Urges Fans To Stick With WWE

When asked about the other names released on Wednesday, Black said he was shocked they let Braun Strowman go and was bummed out about the other talents being released. He said Lana will be fine because she's got such a crazy personality and noted that so many of the released stars are so talented.

And, as disappointed as he is, he urged fans to continue watching WWE and supporting his friends who are still working there. Again, he's not mad or upset with WWE for releasing him, just sad that this was the way it all worked out and was really shocked at the news he received today.
