No one came knocking for Aleister Black on SmackDown this week, but the Dutchman did issue a challenge to whoever came to his door previously.

Aleister Black as introduced to WWE's mainstream as the tag partner of Ricochet. Since then, both men have gone their separate ways. Ricochet is on Raw and at Stomping Grounds, became US Champion. Meanwhile, Black hasn't wrestled since the two of them quietly split from one another.

All we currently know about Black is that he is on SmackDown. Well, we're assuming that's the case since his locker room vignettes have been taking place exclusively on that show. That being said, it is definitely not an accident that Black has a red light shining on his left side and a blue one on his right. Nevertheless, Black has been sat patiently in his darkened room waiting for someone to come knocking.

Last week, that someone did come knocking. However, when Black opened the door, there was no one there. This week, the former NXT Champion addressed that. He admitted that he liked the fact his potential rival had taken the mind games to the next level right from the off. Black then issued a challenged. For his phantom knocker to meet him in the ring at Extreme Rules.

Currently, the list of who might be knocking at Black's door is basically the entire roster. There has been no real hint at who it might be. That is if you don't take into account Zelina Vega's Instagram video earlier this week. Vega posted an amusing altercation between Black and Xavier Woods who was wearing one of her t-shirts. Black and Vega are married in real life, but their relationship has never been addressed on WWE TV.

The timing combined with the first mention of mind games leads us to believe that Black's unknown rival might well be Bray Wyatt. As excited as we would be to see that feud unfold, we're not sure we want it to happen just yet. The biggest issue would be that one of them would eventually have to lose, and neither should be losing a rivalry at this stage. Then again, a SummerSlam showdown between Black and Wyatt sounds incredibly appealing.
