During Monday's 'A Moment of Bliss", Alexa Bliss made the shocking announcement she'll be making her return to the ring in this year's Royal Rumble.

As WWE creeps closer to this Sunday's pay-per-view and the Road to WrestleMania, the female competitors that would be joining the 30 Women's Royal Rumble match started to present itself. During A Moment of Bliss, one-by-one, some of the top female competitors came out to claim their intentions of competing in and winning the match.

It didn't take long for the moment of bliss to turn into a moment of chaos as superstars like Alicia Fix, Nikki Cross, Mickie James, Niz Jax, Tamina, and The Riott Squad got into a battle of fisticuffs, fighting all the way into the backstage area. After claiming that the fight was unexpected, Bliss made her announcement.

The announcement comes as a somewhat unexpected one because to date, it wasn't solidified that Bliss had been medically cleared to return to in-ring action. Out for the past few weeks, she's been hosting A Moment of Bliss to keep her on camera until that time came. This officially confirms that time is now. She received a huge ovation from the crowd when she declared herself a competitor.

Some fans will be disappointed only because having her as a surprise entrant would have made for an incredibly unforgettable moment. But, as fans on Twitter pointed out, there are still a good eight spots left unaccounted for. Anyone could show up in those eight spots.

Bliss' announcement wasn't the end of the surprises during that segment. Lacey Evans made her first speaking appearance on the show and not only claimed herself an entrant but professed that she would win it all.

What This Means

Bliss is extremely popular among WWE fans and it would quite the story if she won the Royal Rumble match. With her announcement, she has to be considered one of the favorites now.
