Alicia Fox has been spotted backstage at Raw ahead of tonight's show, as has NXT Superstar and Mae Young Classic winner, Kairi Sane.

During the two weeks that followed WrestleMania 34, a litany of Superstars from NXT made the move from Full Sail to Raw and SmackDown Live. Drew McIntyre, Peyton Royce, Ember Moon, and Andrade 'Cien' Almas all became main roster Superstars, and that's not even everybody that the yellow and black brand lost following on from WWE's biggest weekend of the year.

That might not be all when it comes to call-ups though. According to reports from PWInsider earlier today, Kairi Sane is backstage at tonight's Raw which will emanate live from Albany, New York later this evening. The Pirate Princess has been making waves in NXT for a while now, plus she won the first-ever Mae Young Classic last year, defeating Shayna Baszler in the final.

The Japanese star isn't the only surprise backstage for tonight's Raw. PWInsider has also reported that Alicia Fox is present for the first time since WrestleMania weekend. Fox isn't an NXT star of course but has been absent from WWE ever since a run-in with Ronda Rousey's husband, Travis Browne. An altercation between the two was caught on camera over WrestleMania weekend and Fox hasn't been seen on WWE TV since.

In fact, Fox's absence from WWE's product extends even further back than WrestleMania weekend. The Foxy One picked up an injury right before she was due to compete in the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match. Coincidentally, she was replaced by Sane in that match. Perhaps both women are on Raw tonight so that WWE creative can spin an angle out of Sane "stealing" Fox's spot in the Rumble.

An angle and subsequent rivalry stemming from the above would certainly be pretty intriguing, however, it would be pretty out of character for Vince McMahon. The chairman is often of the belief that fans don't remember what happened a few months ago, and the majority of the WWE Universe won't even know that Sane replaced Fox in the Rumble. Hopefully, we will still see them both on Raw tonight, whether they clash with each other or not.
