The Dallas Cowboys may finally have their answer at wide receiver, as the team acquired Oakland Raiders' wideout Amari Cooper in exchange for a first-round pick, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Schefter reported Sunday that the Cowboys were heavily pursuing the two-time Pro Bowler. A day later, America's Team finally has a solution for quarterback Dak Prescott, who's had little receiving help all season.

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports recently reported that the Raiders were shopping Cooper and safety Karl Joseph. In trading Cooper, head coach Jon Gruden now owns three first-round picks in 2019; he obtained the Chicago Bears' first selection in the blockbuster Khalil Mack trade.

The Cowboys sit at 3-4 after a frustrating 20-17 Week 7 loss to the Washington Redskins. The offseasons additions of Tavon Austin and Allen Hurns haven't been enough to help the Cowboys' passing game. Cole Beasley is Dallas' leading wideout, with a mere 33 catches for 350 yards and two touchdowns.

A two-time Pro Bowler, Cooper was drafted with the fifth pick in 2015. He registered consecutive 1,000-yard seasons to start his career, but Cooper caught just 48 passes for 680 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2018, Cooper has just 22 catches for 280 yards and one touchdown.

The Cowboys are hoping that the 24-year-old Cooper can be the answer to this team's problems at wideout. The decision to release Pro Bowler Dez Bryant turned out to be costly, but Cooper has the skill set and extreme athleticism to be a big-time star in Dallas' offense.

For the Raiders, trading Cooper is just the latest move by the $100 million head coach. Gruden is loading up on draft picks; he also has the Bears' 2020 first-rounder in the Mack trade.

Oakland figures to finish with a top-five pick in 2019, and the 3-3 Bears and 3-4 Cowboys could wind up giving Gruden top-20 selections. Fans weren't happy when he traded away Mack, but Gruden has three first-rounders in 2019, giving him plenty of opportunities to quickly turn this ship around.
