A backstage report revealed some key details on Austin Aries' Ring Of Honor appearance.

At ROH’s recent 16th Anniversary show, we saw several great matches. Dalton Castle successfully defended his ROH World Championship in a thrilling main event against Jay Lethal, and even Kenny Omega hit a V-Trigger on Cody dressed as a bear, but the biggest surprise of the night was when a new challenger emerged to Kenny King’s ROH TV Championship. That challenge came from the belt collector himself, The Greatest Man that Ever Lived, Austin Aries. Many people made sure to make note of the fact that the Impact Championship was with him, and it has restarted backstage chatter that the two companies are looking to go into business with an official talent share, and we’ve got some news update backstage on that.

Contrary to public thought since the event, PWInsider is reporting that there is no official talent share in the works between the two companies. That’s because Impact is looking to run with an open door policy, and that allows performers to work wherever they want outside of the company (WWE excluded, of course). So this means that it’s unlikely that Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega, or any of the other top New Japan stars will be appearing in Impact, but it opens the door for anyone from Impact to work with ROH, perhaps even New Japan, and that opens up a host of great potential matches.

With that being said, it’s unlikely that we’ll see too many top Impact stars doing work in Japan or ROH, but it is now a possibility according to PWInsiders wording. That could mean wrestling in the US could become a whole lot more unpredictable in the near future.

So what do you guys think? Is this going to become a big deal in the coming months? Who from Impact would you like to see working in ROH alongside Aries? Let us know all your thoughts and ideas in the comments.
