We've already seen Braun Strowman's new chiseled look, but questions about when The Monster will actually be returning to WWE remain. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer, there is some potential news on that front.

According to the wrestling insider, Braun Strowman is expected to return any time now. And, by anytime, that could be as early as the first two weeks of the 2021 calendar, more specifically, after WWE Legends week which will take place on January 4th.

Strowman was recently suspended by WWE for putting his hands on Adam Pearce during an in-ring segment as a No. 1 challenger situation for the WWE Championship was playing itself out. He's not been back on WWE programming since. But, considering the abysmal WWE Raw ratings of late, WWE is not likely to hold Strowman back for much longer.

During his time away, Strowman has been getting into great shape while nursing a knee injury that it is believed he suffered at the Survivor Series pay-per-view in November. There wasn't anything said about Strowman's injury, but WWE worked his recuperation time into a strange storyline where he attacked Pearce for virtually no reason.

What Will Strowman Be Doing?

The question upon Strowman's impending return is what WWE will have him do? He posted a video wearing an interesting mask which some have believed teased the idea of him joining Retribution. Others believe he'll take aim at the WWE Championship and Drew McIntyre. But, because The Scottish Warrior might have a program with Sheamus in the cards first, WWE may choose to work Strowman back into the title picture.

The hope is that WWE uses the big man properly and gives him the right type of push. The start and stop booking that surrounds Strowman has been frustrating, to say the least.
