Trish Stratus wrestled in her last match at this year's SummerSlam. However, that hasn't stopped Bayley from trying to tempt her back one more time.

The women's revolution in WWE has brought back a lot of old Superstars. Not only has that allowed Superstars to reap the rewards of the work they put in, but some have been allowed to demonstrate talent they didn't get the chance to flaunt first time around. Women's wrestling in WWE is finally about the action in the ring and not based on how the competitors look.

One of the few women who was actually allowed to demonstrate her wrestling ability first time around was Trish Stratus. We have been reminded of why that was a couple of times over the past two years. During the first-ever women's Royal Rumble, at last year's Evolution, and one last time against Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam.

Stratus has said that her match versus Flair will be the last she ever wrestles. However, Bayley is dead set on not letting that happen. Directly after the match, the SmackDown Women's Champion tweeted about Stratus, asking her not to go. This week, Bayley elaborated on that tweet. Turns out she wants Stratus to stick around for more than just a dream match.

"It’s more so because of what she brings to our locker room and backstage is very hard to come by," Bayley wrote on Instagram. The champ also thanked the Hall of Famer for her support and friendship over the last couple of years. Then she signed off by writing "I’m trying to make you say ‘awww’ so you’ll come back to wrestle like we talked about." That's what we like to hear!

As we hinted at above, Stratus proved at SummerSlam that she has not missed a step despite being away from the ring for a while. There's an argument to be made that she and Flair had the match of the night last Sunday. Personally, we would love to see Stratus and Bayley go one on one. Now it seems as if the decision is Stratus's to make, and whether she wants this retirement to be permanent.
