Becky Lynch and Beth Phoenix have been teasing a match down the line via a semi-friendly exchange about title reigns on Twitter.

The women's revolution in WWE has brought about many great things for the business. The current wave of female wrestlers is the best crop the company has ever seen, fans have gotten to see them compete in Hell In A Cell and Royall Rumble matches for the first time, plus last month, women headline WrestleMania for the first time ever.

One of the biggest plus points has been the many returns that have happened over the course of the past two years. Women who paved the way returning to deservedly reap some of the rewards. Trish Stratus, Lita, Michelle McCool, and Molly Holly. Beth Phoenix has also come back, however, the Hall Of Famer is treating it as a little more of a permanent fixture than the aforementioned stars.

RUMOR: BECKY LYNCH TO BECOME WWE 2K'S FIRST FEMALE COVER STAR

Phoenix first returned for the first women's Royal Rumble match in 2018 and has been back a handful of times since. She is even currently performing on WWE's European tour. That's what led to the former Women's Champion sharing the ring with the current champ, Becky Lynch. Lynch shared a photo of the two of them with the caption "don't get too close to that title."

Phoenix quickly replied to The Man's tweet typing "I’m just glad that we are friends and not steaming over a silly little detail like being tied for number of title reigns." Phoenix was a Divas' Champion one time and a Women's Champion three time. Meanwhile, Lynch is a one time Raw Women's Champion and three-time SmackDown Women's Champion. Having Phoenix try to overtake The Man by beating her would be quite the angle.

For now, Lynch has other things on her plate. Two of them to be exact. In just a week's time, The Lass Kicker will be defending her two titles in two separate matches. At Money In The Bank, Lacey Evans will be getting a shot at the Raw Title while Charlotte Flair will attempt to win back the SmackDown equivalent. Watch Raw tomorrow night to see Lynch sign contracts for both those matches.
