Becky Lynch will play just as big a role as her opponents at TLC despite recently suffering a severe concussion.

WWE has been having its plans shaken up quite a bit lately. First of all the company and the entire wrestling world was shocked when Roman Reigns revealed that he is battling leukemia. That led to a roster shakeup on Raw as Reigns naturally has to take some time off. Shortly after that, Nia Jax busting Becky Lynch's face open led to wholesale changes in the women's division.

The unfortunate accident led to Charlotte Flair taking Lynch's place opposite Ronda Rousey, and also led to The Queen turning heel. That's because Jax's forearm smash was so hard that not only did it lead to an awful lot of blood being spilled, but also a severe concussion. Lynch has not wrestled since suffering the injury.

However, all is not lost. Lynch returned to SmackDown Live this week and some fans might have feared it would be to relinquish her Women's Title. Thankfully that was not the case. It was actually so Paige could book The Man in her next match. A TLC match between her and Flair at, you guessed it, TLC. Plus, Asuka was added to proceedings later in the evening.

Since then, some have speculated that The Empress has been added to the match so she can do some of the work Lynch won't be able to. However, The Wrestling Observer has reported that is not the case. Lynch has been cleared to take bumps and compete like she would on any other day for her match at TLC. Apparently in WWE, if you are cleared then there is no grey area. That has been demonstrated via Daniel Bryan's return.

There is a lot to like about the triple threat currently booked for TLC. It brings Asuka back into the fold, even if she will be the one taking the fall. That will likely mean the four women competing in title matches at WrestleMania 35 will be the three wrestling at TLC plus Ronda Rousey. Personally, we're hoping for Lynch versus Rousey and a Flair/Asuka rematch.
