Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the very first women's WrestleMania 35 main event match, but a repeat of this historic match isn't likely to take place in Tampa Bay next year.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestlingInc.com), WWE has something else planned for Lynch at WrestleMania 36 next year. At this time, Charlotte and Rousey reportedly aren't the planned opponent(s) for Lynch. That said, it is possible that Rousey could end up facing Lynch at 'Mania if she returns for the big show next year.

It was also added that Lynch will be the main event female wrestler forWrestleMania 36 card, per the Observer. But as of now, it seems like WWE is going to go in a different direction for Lynch.

The Irish Lass Kicker is set to defend her two championships in separate matches at the May 19 Money in the Bank pay-per-view. She'll go up against Lacey Evans with the Raw Women's Championship on the line. Lynch will later face Flair - her long-time rival - for the SmackDown Women's title.

Interestingly, Brad Shepard said on the Oh, You Didn't Know podcast that a WWE source thinks "the company is ‘wearing the Becky Lynch thing out.’" That is, they seem to be ready to end her main event push soon. So really, it's anybody's guess where WWE will be going with Lynch between now and WrestleMania 36 at Raymond James Stadium.

Although the Rousey-Lynch-Flair match at WrestleMania 35 completely lived up to the hype, WWE doesn't usually repeat the same main event bouts for their big show. Thus, it would be quite a surprise if they wound up doing Lynch vs. Flair and/or Rousey in Tampa Bay next year.

What This Means

A lot can change between now and WrestleMania 36, but it's interesting to hear already that WWE has a different plan for Lynch. We can obviously expect another superstar to receive a massive main event in the near future in order to set up a match with Lynch on the grandest of stages.
