Becky Lynch is looking to prove the legendary Dusty Rhodes right when she faces Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania.

Lynch, who has been feuding with Rousey for several weeks now, has assured fans that she will "prove The Dream was right" on the grandest stage of them all in a week's time, sharing a tweet from Rhodes which happens to be the last one he ever posted.

Rhodes, who died in 2015, was part of the WWE's creative team and also worked as a trainer with NXT before his passing. As it happens, his last tweet was a compliment to Lynch, who was still with NXT at the time.

The tweet is shown below:

Rhodes passed away just four days after tweeting this but Becky has made it relevant again ahead of her WrestleMania showdown with Ronda and Charlotte.

"In one week I' going to prove The Dream was right," she tweeted on Sunday in response to Dusty's prediction, which does appear to be coming to fruition.

Cody Rhodes, the son of the late Dusty, told Lynch to "Go get it" after seeing her tweet.

It appears that The Man had the legend in her corner whilst at NXT yet there were others who did not even want her there at all as Lynch recently revealed that there were persons pushing for her release during her time with NXT.

She said: “I got a couple of text messages this week from people here at work and NXT or worked in the office side of things. (They said) I don’t know if you knew this, but there are some people that wanted to fire you when you were in NXT. Congratulations on the main event.”

What This Means

This is turning out to be quite a story. Lynch was apparently walking the plank at NXT, possibly unaware, but she's since become one of the biggest names in wrestling.

As reports would have it, she will be presented the opportunity to win either the Raw or SmackDown Women's titles if she can pin either Rousey or Flair during WrestleMania's main event.
