Becky Lynch has responded to reports that she might not be ready to go at TLC by assuring fans that she will defend her title on December 16, 2018.

The last time Becky Lynch wrestled on television was November 6, 2018. On that night, an episode of SmackDown Live, she held an open challenge. Since the show was airing from Manchester in the UK, a British wrestler, Nikki Cross, answered The Man's challenge. Unfortunately, we have seen neither of them perform on SmackDown Live since.

Cross has presumably returned to NXT, while Lynch was seriously injured on Raw six days later by Nia Jax. The concussion and fractured nose Lynch suffered due to the hit she took from Jax has had her watching from the sidelines ever since. It even led to her missing a landmark match with Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series.

The Man is scheduled to return at TLC. At the time of typing this, that event is just nine days away. There have been reports circulating that Lynch might be cleared in time to defend her title at the PPV. The Lass Kicker has taken to Twitter to clear up any rumor that she might not wrestle at TLC, assuring everyone that she will defend her title in the first-ever women's TLC match.

"Let me say this as clearly as I can: nothing will keep me from fighting on Dec 16th," Lynch informed us via social media on Friday. Just to hammer home that point, the SmackDown Women's Champion also posted a photo of herself punishing Charlotte Flair at Evolution. If her match with Asuka and The Queen is even half as good as the one at Evolution, we are in for a treat.

Lynch might believe that she can wrestle no matter what at TLC, but if WWE doctors don't clear her then she will not be allowed to compete. The confidence she has shown in the above tweet suggests to us that she already knows for sure that she will be cleared in time for TLC, or might have been already. The last word was that Lynch had been cleared from her concussion, but not the fractured nose.
