Becky Lynch reckons her feuding with Charlotte Flair is getting old after an entire year of PPV battles between the pair.
Lynch, who currently holds both the Raw and SmackDown Women's titles, will be defending both belts at Money In The Bank next weekend, with separate matches set up against Charlotte (SmackDown) and Lacey Evans (Raw).
Speaking in an interview with Comicbook.com ahead of the May 19 event, Becky lamented over having to face Charlotte so often and named a few other women she'd rather fight at MITB.
"I think we’re running on a year of facing off in some capacity at nearly every single pay-per-view," she explained. "I would love to have faced Bayley at the pay-per-view. I would’ve loved to have faced Kairi, even Asuka again. We have unfinished business.
"Ember Moon, Mickie James, you know? Natalya. I mean, that’s not on SmackDown. But you know, there’s many a woman here champing at the bit, but of course, shoehorn Charlotte will get her way in there time and time again."
Quizzed over the ordeal two title matches in a single night might present, Becky said that she's gotten to where she is without anyone having her back and would rather be out there fighting the odds.
"I’ve gotten to where I’ve gotten without having anybody in my corner," she declared. "In fact, whenever I’ve had people in my corner, or so I thought, it’s always turned sour. So, I think I would rather go out there and fight against the odds. Whether I win or lose, it doesn’t matter. At least I know that I’ve done it on my own and anything that I’ve accomplished, I’ve done it on my own. It has a much more satisfying feeling."
What This Means
Charlotte always manages to find herself in the big matches, but there's no doubting that she's a bonafide superstar and Becky will never be rid of her as long as they're both around, especially on the big stage.
