William Morrissey, formerly Big Cass and now CaZXL, is dating AEW broadcaster, Lexy Nair.
The former WWE star returned to the ring in incredible shape earlier this year and looks to be well on the road to redemption following his release from WWE. The wrestler revealed he suffered from mental health issues and alcoholism but, even after his axing, found himself in another controversial situation when he clashed with AEW’s Joey Janela at a WrestlePro event in September 2019.
“They had every right to get rid of me,” he said of WWE.
“Whatever it is, you need to go seek help,” he also pointed out. “Whether it’s medication or talk therapy or whatever it is that you need, you need to get it, because hiding it deep down isn’t going to work. That’s what I did for a long time and eventually, ‘Pop!’ It’s just an explosion. Whatever you need to do fix it, make sure you do that, because keeping that sh*t bottled up deep down, it ain’t worth it. From someone that lived it, seek help.”
Being in a romantic relationship with Lexy can’t hurt, right? The AEW employee posted a photo with Morrissey to Instagram, captioning the image “Alexa play The Lion King’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”
The female is the host of AEW Outside The Ring on YouTube. The show launched last month and will be airing every Friday at 9PM EST on the promotion’s YouTube channel.
New Impact Star
The former WWE star made his Impact Wrestling debut at Rebellion last month, coming on as Eric Young’s surprise partner. He is secluded to fight Willie Mack at Impact Under Siege on May 15.
Back in February, CaZXL showed up at Impact’s Doc Gallows' Lariato Pro Wrestling Guild, walking out to a raucous reception from the crowd. Prior to that, he had not been in the ring since 2019.
