Big E was recently asked about the awareness backstage of comments Lars Sullivan allegedly made and he has replied accordingly.
Around the time that Lars Sullivan was first called up to WWE's main roster, some old comments allegedly posted by him on a bodybuilding message board were unearthed. Although the messages have not been confirmed to have been posted by him, many online are of the belief that it was indeed him. There have also been reports that Sullivan has since apologized for the comments behind the scenes.
The posts include content of a racist, homophobic, and just downright offensive nature. They have been collated into one Reddit post which you can find here. Said Reddit post has been doing the rounds once again this week and Sullivan is hence having a spotlight shone on him for all the wrong reasons for a second time.
One fan tweeted the Reddit link and tagged Big E, asking what he and the locker room think of the comments. Big E replied "if true, he has to bear the albatross of being a bigot & working in a company that is now filled with minorities." He also pointed out that many are aware of the comments and allegations which is hardly surprising considering how much traction it has garnered online.

Big E is never shy when it comes to expressing his opinion online. That trait has only been magnified since he has been out with an injury. It's also not the first time he has offered up his opinion on something like this recently. The New Day member was one of the Superstars who was not happy about Hulk Hogan's apology. However, he revealed over WrestleMania weekend that the two of them had a conversation and seemed to have made some progress.
If Sullivan did indeed make all of those comments, this situation could be a harder one to live with for Big E and other WWE Superstars. While Hogan is only around two or three times a year, Sullivan will be backstage every single week. He may even be sharing a locker room with those he has offended. Here's hoping that this has all been one big misunderstanding or, if not, Sullivan is taking steps to make things right and prove that he has changed.
