An episode of SmackDown Live that followed an announcement that Daniel Bryan has been cleared to return to in-ring action. Surely this edition of the blue brand's show was more jam-packed with big moments than almost any other that has come before it? Even though Bryan didn't actually have his first match back yet, and doesn't yet know when that moment will come, this week's SmackDown Live was absolutely can't miss TV. Check out all the biggest moments from Tuesday night's show below.

Lights Out For Harper

The Bludgeon Brothers delivered such a brutal beatdown to The Usos and The New Day at Fastlane that nine days later all five men are still feeling the effects. Well, we assume New Day are since they didn't even make it to SmackDown Live this week. On Tuesday night Jimmy, the healthier of the two Usos following the beating, had the unenviable task of going one on one with Harper. It was his second attempt at trying to get some revenge after he and Big E joined forces to try and take out Harper and Rowan last week. This week the twin showed a little more promise including what he did in the GIF above. Harper came hurtling towards Jimmy who tripped him and sent him face first into the screen on the ring apron, breaking one of the panels. Harper would rally though and still eventually pick up the win.

You Can't Duck An Arm Bar

At Fastlane Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev were put together in a one on one match simply because both men had nothing else to do on the night. Despite it being a throwaway match, it turned out to be pretty good. That might have been a surprise to the clout backstage but it wasn't to the fans. Now it seems that we have a match that WWE creative can slot into a show whenever they need it which is likely why the two of them had a rematch on this week's SmackDown Live. Both men use their feet as weapons, something Rusev knew all too well about his opponent as he repeatedly ducked Nakamura's kicks. There's no ducking an armbar though as you can see from the GIF above.

Raw Power From Natalya

Speaking of matches that WWE creative know they can rely on, enter Charlotte Flair and Natalya. Ever since the pair's classic match for the NXT Women's Championship years ago, it has just been common knowledge that the two of them have incredible in-ring chemistry. They feuded towards the end of last year on SmackDown Live and revisited their long-running rivalry during this week's episode too. It was never in any doubt that the match would be a great one and there were a few moves that could have made our biggest moments list. We opted for this impressive powerbomb from Nattie. Despite Flair being significantly bigger than her opponent, Natalya still managed to spin the champ round and round before slamming her down for a sit out powerbomb.

As Close To A Cash-In As It Gets

Even though Natalya's impressive sit out powerbomb on Charlotte Flair didn't win her the match, The Queen Of Hearts did eventually win out over The Queen Of SmackDown Live. While Flair was distracted by Carmella attempting to cash in her Money In The Bank contract Nattie scored the roll up on the champ for the win. There was one very big reason why The Princess Of Staten Island didn't quite manage to cash in that contract and in hindsight it was probably a blessing in disguise for Miss Money In The Bank. After handing her briefcase to the official Flair delivered a big boot right to her face knocking her flat. If the bell had rung then it may have been the most embarrassing cash in ever.

That's What You Get For Being Cleared

SmackDown Live both opened and closed with appearances from Daniel Bryan this week. That's only to be expected considering the news that he has been cleared to return to in-ring action after more than two years away. During the closing stages of the show, Bryan regrettably informed Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn that they were fired following their attack on Shane McMahon last week. Suffice to say they didn't take the news well and what followed was definitive proof that Bryan is once again allowed to wrestle. KO and Zayn beat down the GM much like they did to McMahon last week. Bryan got some shots in and proved he can still go but being outnumbered meant he was always going to fail. The most brutal shot taken by his attackers was the last one. Owens loves to put Superstars out of action via his pop up powerbomb on to the ring apron and that's exactly what he did to Bryan on Tuesday night with an assist from Zayn.
