While Evolution and Crown Jewel are still in the back of people's minds, there are other rumors galore in the WWE this week.

WWE might have settled on a name for the new partnership between Big Show and The Bar, Shawn Michaels is going to continue his program despite uncertainty with Crown Jewel, more names are rumored for the Evolution event and Ronda Rousey has a certain advocate working with her behind the scenes.

Those are just some of the news of note when it comes to the biggest rumors in WWE this week.

The Bar and Big Show Have A Name?

via wwe.com

In a surprising twist on Tuesday, Big Show aligned himself with The Bar and helped the team of Cesaro and Sheamus beat New Day for the tag team championships. There was no reasoning behind the giant and The Bar aligning but it looks like it wasn't a one-shot deal. It hasn't been confirmed, but speculation is the stable will be called "Showbar," according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.

It's a terribly uncreative name, but it's not unlike WWE to go this route. In the past, Big Show was teamed with Chris Jericho and their duo was called"Jeri-Show," and in a different instance he was partnered with The Miz and they went by the team name  "ShowMiz."

Rousey Is a Heyman Girl?

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes Paul Heyman has been working closely with Ronda Rousey and helping produce her promos. He was directly responsible for her scathing tirade on Raw where she took some serious, but well-received shots at the Bellas.

Apparently, he's helping craft her lines like the one she said about Nikki Bella knocking down the door to John Cena’s bedroom. He's also making sure that when she has something she'd like to say, it matches up with WWE's code of conduct or isn't on the no-go list of words WWE can't use.

In a related, but unrelated note, per the Observer, there is an idea within WWE to try to get Ronda Rousey on Total Divas due to viewership taking a dive. Let's hope that isn't true if they want to keep Rousey's character genuine to the 'anti-Diva' idea.

Fox Network Looking For WWE To Change Things Up

[caption id="attachment_736678" align="alignnone" width="1708"] via wwe.com[/caption] There is speculation that the Fox network is suggesting to Vince McMahan that SmackDown Live take a more sports-like approach when it comes to producing the shows that will air on the network in 2019. It is well known that WWE doesn't see their product as a "wrestling" product but more an entertainment brand which includes comedy and variety acts. But, Fox is looking to cross-promote a number of their other sports shows on and through SmackDown Live and it wants some consistency in its programming. With the over $1 billion Fox paid to land the WWE rights contract, it's starting to look like there are some strings attached to that deal.

Shawn Michaels Match Still A Go

[caption id="attachment_736542" align="alignnone" width="1200"] via wwe.com[/caption]

Despite the uncertainty surrounding where Crown Jewel might be taking place and if it's moved, that WWE might be out a great deal of money, it doesn't seem to have changed the optics of the match that includes Shawn Michaels.

It would stand to reason part of Michaels' motivation to come out of retirement is the payday he'd stand to make working the Saudi Arabia show. Either he's still getting paid that money regardless of where the show takes place or he's cool with making less and still returning.

Fans can only hope this wasn't just about a payday because WrestleTalk is reporting current plans call for Shawn Michaels to work WrestleMania 35 in a match against AJ Styles. That would be a dream match for the WWE Universe.

There are some rumblings and announcements about names making their way to the Evolution pay-per-view. Already announced for the Battle Royal was Torrie Wilson, but it looks like there will be many more. Hall of Famers, Madusa and Ivory are rumored to be on the show as is and WWE Legend Molly Holly.

There are bound to be more names scheduled to return as the show draws closer. WWE bragged from the beginning that there would be over 50 female Superstars showcased at the event. That includes a number of names from the current roster, NXT talents, and WWE Legends.
