Kevin Owens Return

Although there is speculation that a return for Kevin Owens might be imminent and WWE has run video packages saying he would return soon, the Wrestling Observer notes Kevin Owens won’t be brought back to television until after WrestleMania 35.

The latest is that he may return as a babyface and run a program with new Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley. Owens is apparently in the best shape he's ever been in since joining WWE.

No Real Plan For NXT Call-ups

10 Wrestlers Who Became Huge Stars After Leaving The WWE

Fans who watched Raw and SmackDown Live this week will have noticed that the recent crop of NXT call-ups started showing their faces on WWE programming. Rumor is, that was due to the direction of Vince McMahon who simply wants their faces on television. Unfortunately, the other speculation is that he has no real plans for any of them.

As per the Observer, Vince figures just putting them on tv will help create scenarios where a direction for each character will present itself. Logically, this is a terrible idea but WWE didn't want to have advertised these call-ups and then wait week after week and not deliver.

As you could see with a personality like EC3, there was no plan for him whatsoever and he just stood in the background looking in the mirror.

John Cena Vs Daniel Bryan For WrestleMania 35

The latest name to pop up as an opponent for John Cena at WrestleMania 35 is none other than Daniel Bryan. Slice Wrestling reported on Twitter this week that WWE is considering a championship match between the two and that would keep Bryan as the WWE Heavyweight Champion leading into that bout.

If this is true, it will lead to questions about the plan for AJ Styles who was rumored to be looking at a match with Kenny Omega if he signed with WWE. Unfortunately for WWE fans, it appears Omega is not coming to WWE after all.

LayCool May Returning To WWE?

With the official announcements of the Women's Tag Team Championships, there has been a great deal of speculation as to which teams will be competing for the titles. Obviously, teams like The Iiconics and Nia Jax with Tamina will be in the mix, but what other pairings will WWE put together and what teams might return?

While there was talk of Trish Stratus and Lita teaming up, new whispers suggest LayCool, consisting of Michelle McCool and Layla will be brought back into the company. McCool took to Twitter and expressed her interest when she said, "all they gotta do is ask."

Dolph Ziggler Leaving... Again

Dolph Ziggler has turned down a role in WWE has an agent which is leading to speculation, once again, he may be done in WWE.

Some sources claim to PWInsider that Ziggler remains under WWE contract and others have denied he is leaving if there's any truth that his current deal ends on January 31, 2019, with WWE, his lack of push and appearances on WWE programming, plus the emergence of All Elite Wrestling will get people talking that he may make a jump.

Good Brothers Staying Put

Rumors are rampant as to which WWE personalities are wanting to jump ship from WWE to AEW. Among the names already rumored are The Revival, Maria and Mike Kannelis and The Good Brothers. But, according to comments by Karl Anderson, Anderson and Gallows are not looking to leave WWE.

During an appearance on Notsam Wrestling last week, Anderson revealed both members of the team have no intentions of going anywhere anytime soon. "I asked the head of talent relations...I might just sign a lifetime contract, and Gallows said he'd like to sign a legends deal now," Anderson joked.
