What direction is WWE heading in post-Survivor Series? Two big heel turns at the pay-per-view turned into perhaps the holding off of another turn that was expected. Also, Lynch's recent chats with an MMA star may mean something for WrestleMania 35. There is a group of indy wrestlers starting a new promotion and WWE may have some interesting plans for one of their female stars.

Here are your biggest rumors in WWE this week.

Shane McMahon Heel Turn On Hold

via StillRealToUs.com

Speculation that a storyline involving Shane McMahon turning heel after Crown Jewel and the World Cup were everywhere. It appears that a heel turn will still come but likely not until the start of 2019. It's not ideal to let a storyline like that simmer for so long but with heel turns for Daniel Bryan and Charlotte, it could be a case of one too many turns.

If the heel turn comes because of the World Cup is uncertain. WWE may choose to have another reason to turn McMahon or re-introduce the fact that he won the trophy.

Conor McGregor And WWE?

Becky Lynch recently got into a Twitter conversation with MMA star Conor McGregor. She was using social media to keep her heel character going and suggested she and the Irish MMA fighter had a lot in common. McGregor responded by saying she should call him if she ever needed a good back up. She then responded that he knows how it feels to carry two divisions and that New York looks nice in the spring, close to where WrestleMania 35 will be taking place.

Immediately this caught the attention of many fans who suggested the two teaming up at WrestleMania is exactly what the card would need to make it a huge event.

The Elite Taking WWE Talent

There are mixed reports about a rival promotion that may or may not be led by Chris Jericho and Jim Ross, but definitely includes Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks and will be called All Elite Wrestling have filed for a number of trademarks on November 5. There is also speculation that a couple of current WWE stars have provisionally accepted deals to come and join the promotion once their WWE deals expire in April.

Obviously, those deals will depend on whether or not this new promotion can get a lucrative television deal. Without a tv deal, it's hard for any promotion to make the kind of revenue it will need to attract big stars.

The other rumor is that this is not about a new promotion but about Rhodes and company filing for trademarks that they can own if and when they join WWE. One condition of their joining may be that they control the rights to the name Elite and that they stay a group in WWE, giving them much more potential to earn money on merch sales.

Alexa Bliss New Raw General Manager?

via Wrestle Yard

Clearly, with Alexa Bliss' concussion issues, WWE will need to find something for her to do that doesn't not include wrestling. One option is that she becomes the Raw general manager in place of Baron Corbin who is expected to lose that spot when he meets up with Braun Strowman.

The match between Strowman and Corbin is set for TLC and while Strowman's real life elbow injury could play a factor in all of this, it sounds like the match might continue on anyway and be a squash where Strowman wins and Corbin loses his job. This would provide an opening for Bliss.
