Three days out from Clash of Champions and the WWE might be ripe with changes come Sunday evening— with that in mind, here are the biggest WWE Rumors this week. Will WWE look anything close to the way it looks now heading into the Royal Rumble? Are the rumblings we're hearing behind the scenes true?

It's that time again to take a look at the five hottest rumors circulating around the WWE. How injured is Sheamus? What the status of the WWE and their new relationship with Facebook Watch? It must be a big deal because Vinny-Mac s going all-in. Brock Lesnar wasn't going to wrestle at the Royal Rumble and now he is. Who will he be facing?

It's everyone's favorite time of the week. Here are your five biggest rumors in the WWE over the past seven days (remember, many of these are just rumors).

5. Mixed Match Challenge On Facebook Huge For WWE

via twitter.com

There was a lot of talk about how WWE and Facebook would partner up to get a show on Facebook Watch and this is a project that Vince is taking on with great ferocity. It is said to be something Vince sees as an opportunity to get more viewers and potentially a higher bid from a cable company when the WWE's TV offer with NBC expires in 2019.

Fans seem mixed on the idea behind the show, but WWE is rumored to be pulling out all the stops and as seen by Raw's announced roster, has some of the most talented and big-name performers competing on the show.

4. Sheamus Injured But Still Working

via wwe.com

There were a number of people who looked a little foolish when it was reported Sheamus was potentially dealing with a career-ending injury. On Monday, The Celtic Warrior came out and wrestled one of the best and longer matches on Monday's Raw, looking fantastic and not nearly like a man whose career might be coming to an end.

Despite his ability to wrestle, the Wrestling Observer Radio show is noting WWE is trying to protect Sheamus due to his neck injury. He’s said to be taking fewer bumps on house shows, and working more multi-man matches.

3. Royal Rumble Triple Threat

via wwe.com

It wasn't long ago Brock Lesnar was rumored as not even appearing at the Royal Rumble since WWE couldn't find him a suitable opponent. Then it became a situation where the winner of the Braun Strowman vs Kane match would take on Lesnar in January. Since no one was declared a winner in their one-on-one bout, it now looks like the plan is a Triple Threat match.

The plan is to protect Strowman by not having him take a pin, and Kane will lose the match leaving both Lesnar and Strowman open for a rematch down the road.

2. Bryan Versus Shane

via cetusnews.com

Even though there's no telling whether Daniel Bryan would be cleared to compete, WWE is building to a Shane McMahon vs. Daniel Bryan feud. If Bryan can go, it seems a shame to potentially use his comeback match against McMahon. If he can't go, expect Bryan to pick a representative to wrestle for him (much the same way Trump and McMahon selected Lashley and Umaga).

It seems clear that the storylines are leading to a Bryan versus McMahon dispute. Who is turning heel in that battle is still unknown at this time.

1. Cena Rumored To Answer IC Title Challenge

There’s talk that John Cena will be appearing on the Christmas episode of Raw and could come as a surprise, accepting Reigns challenge for the Intercontinental Championship. While Cena may return for that show, it wouldn't be to win the title or back in any sort of full-time capacity as he's confirmed he'll no longer be wrestling with the WWE as a full-time competitor.

Cena is also rumored to be taking more time away from WWE because of his very busy new Hollywood schedule.
