The build of The Bludgeon Brothers came to an incredible head at Fastlane as they laid waste to both The New Day and The Usos.

One of the most highly anticipated matches on the Fastlane card on Sunday night was the Tag Team Title match between The Usos and The New Day. For a large chunk of 2017, the two decorated tag teams fought each other, trading the championships back and forth and putting tag team wrestling back on the map.

The match between the two teams on Sunday night was every bit as good as we remembered their clashes being before. Superkicks galore, both teams copying one another's signature maneuvers, and none of the competitors involved willing to give up. That's why it took the interruption of a third team to put a stop to the match and throw it into disarray.

With all five of the men involved in the match laid out at ringside, The Bludgeon Brothers decided to show their faces and finally make their mark on the championship scene. Harper and Rowan methodically made their way down the ramp and then wreaked havoc on The Usos and The New Day. The match was called off of course as the two behemoths delivered a beating, unlike anything the two teams will have felt before.

Harper and Rowan delivered brutal move after brutal move to all five men to the point when those watching wouldn't have known when it was going to end. At one point Rowan tried to squash one of the Uso's heads against the steel steps with his oversized hammer but luckily the tag champ moved at the last second. We say luckily because the mallet left a dent in the steps.

Finally, The Bludgeon Brothers look like they're about to be involved in more than just short and violent squash matches on Tuesday nights. They left their mark on the blue brand's two top teams in the best possible way at Fastlane. In fact, it would be a surprise if any of the victims of the beating are even on SmackDown Live this week as they all had to be helped back to the locker room. Prepare yourself for a tag team triple threat at WrestleMania, and for Harper and Rowan to be crowned the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
