From the opening of the kickoff show to the final declaration of a winner in the main event, WWE's summer party known as SummerSlam covers a lot of ground — approximately seven hours if we're counting.  With all this action, there's a winner, there's a loser and sometimes there's a tie, but for good reason.

In an attempt to try and cover the more relevant bouts in a 13-match card, we're going to try and predict the outcomes of the matches most fans have their eye on.

WWE Championship -- AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe:

via WWF Old School

This match has the potential to steal the show and WWE fans have been waiting for it since Samoa Joe and AJ Styles basically ran TNA. The WWE version of this feud feels a bit rushed so it's likely that this match ends in some of sort of wonky finish with unresolved issues, leading into another match at Hell in a Cell.

Expect this battle to only be the start of things to come. Perhaps Styles gets the win and Joe is unhappy with the result, taking it to Styles after the bell. Or, this match ends in a good old-fashioned non-finish. Either way, it's going to be an all-out war and potentially match of the night.

Result: AJ Styles gets the win via disqualification

Universal Championship -- Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns:

via TVH Dailymotion video

Brock Lesnar may be leaving WWE and heading for UFC. If such is the case, this will be a battle but Roman Reigns will come out on top. That said, if Lesnar somehow works out a last-minute contract extension with WWE, the result could dramatically change.

Most people believe Lesnar will drop the strap but some believe WWE is worried about how fans will react to Reigns winning it. That could introduce an opportunity for a curveball and Braun Strowman gets involved.

Result: Reigns wins Universal Championship

Raw Women's Championship -- Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Ronda Rousey:

via WWF Old School

It's difficult to imagine a situation in which Ronda Rousey does not walk away from SummerSlam the new Raw Women's Champion. She battled Jax and Bliss prior to Sunday's match and walked away with nothing. It's not likely WWE is going to have her walk away empty-handed again — not while she's still being heavily pushed and so early in her WWE career.

So too, Rousey is improving and there are whispers she's got moves in her arsenal fans have yet to see. This match probably won't be a long one.

Result: Rousey Wins Raw Women's Championship via submission

SmackDown Women's Championship -- Carmella (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte:

via WWE Live Stream

It took a while for WWE to build Becky Lynch back into a formidable force on SmackDown Live but it's not enough to overtake the momentum Carmella has as the SmackDown Live Women's Champion. Carmella is simply too good of a heel character right now to take her unexpectedly wonderful run away.

When you consider now that Flair has been added to this entire scenario, the odds are supposed to go against the champion, but in this case, help her since Lynch and Flair will find some way to interfere with one another.

Result: Carmella retains the title.

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz:

The feud between The Miz and Daniel Bryan is arguably the most anticipated one of the entire SummerSlam card but the "obvious" result should also be considered the most questionable.

Most would assume that Bryan would get his revenge but with rumors he's still not re-signed his contract extension and his WWE future perhaps in doubt, who knows where this goes? If he has signed, WWE may want to stretch this out much longer than one match, again giving The Miz the advantage.

Even though he's not expected to win, too many things fall in favor of The Miz in this particular scenario.

Result: The Miz wins via surprising pinfall

Intercontinental Championship -- Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Seth Rollins:

via The Wrestling Estate

Some fans will suggest Rollins versus Ziggler is old news by now. In most cases, that would be true. But, adding a returning Dean Ambrose to the mix, along with the fact that Drew McIntyre will be a force on the outside suggests this match could go a number of directions.

While it seems Ambrose's inclusion evens the odds, we're suggesting a heel turn here with Ambrose double-crossing his buddy and Ziggler and McIntyre being shocked but taking advantage for the win.

Result: Ziggler retains Intercontinental Title

Money in the Bank Briefcase -- Braun Strowman (h) vs. Kevin Owens:

viaYouTube

It would fantastic for Kevin Owens' career if he were to somehow win this match and steal the Money in the Bank briefcase from Braun Strowman. Strowman wouldn't be hurt by the loss if done right and Owens would be a made man. That's probably not going to happen.

Expect WWE to have Strowman destroy Owens after he tries to put up a valiant fight. As we mentioned earlier, Strowman may then move on to interject himself into the Lesnar vs. Reigns match, sending fans home happy if he wins the Universal Title.

Result: Strowman destroys Owens
