Braun Strowman returned to action at WWE TLC to take on Baron Corbin and he made sure he didn't come alone.

When Stephanie McMahon made a match between Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin at TLC, the latter saw an opportunity. If he could beat The Monster at the PPV, McMahon promised him the permanent position of Raw General Manager. With that, Corbin and his cronies went about doing all that they could to make sure Strowman wouldn't make it to TLC.

In order to do that, Corbin injured Strowman's elbow. What actually happened was the former Raw Tag Team Champion needed time off for elbow surgery, so everything pieced together well. Everything apart from Strowman recovering in time for TLC. Right up to the match itself whether Strowman was fit or not was kept under wraps.

It turns out that Strowman was not cleared to wrestle. However, that did not stop him from showing up. Just as he was about to lose by forfeit, The Monster's music hit and he came to the ring. Since his arm is still in a sling, Strowman revealed that he would be calling on some friends to help him out. It was a TLC match after all, so there were no disqualifications.

That's when various Superstars Corbin has wronged began to show up around the ring. The last of those Superstars was Kurt Angle. Corbin was making his way back up the ramp when Angle stopped him halfway and beat him back towards the ring using a steel chair. Once he was back in there, the rest of the Superstars continued to beat down the now former General Manager Elect. Referee Heath Slater then gleefully counted the pin as Strowman placed one foot on Corbin's chest.

So we are now to assume that the reign of Corbin on Raw has come to an end. That was the stipulation. It was also confirmed that Strowman will face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at Royal Rumble, Strowman's pre-agreed upon reward for winning the match. There is the risk that Vince McMahon will reinstate Corbin on Raw tomorrow. Even the WWE chairman couldn't be that short-sighted, right?
