Braun Strowman Reveals Roman Reigns Is Currently "Doing Really Well"

Braun Strowman is the latest wrestler to provide an update on Roman Reigns, and he had nothing but good things to say about The Big Dog's recovery.

We are basically in the midst of WrestleMania season as we inch ever closer to Royal Rumble this Sunday. The PPV that traditionally marks the beginning of the road to WrestleMania. That's because, on Sunday night, we will discover two of the Superstars who will get title shots on the grandest stage of them all.

Even though we are not well and truly on the road quite yet, there already feels as if there is a piece of the puzzle missing. Roman Reigns. The former Universal Champion has featured in the main event of the last four WrestleManias. If he were to wrestle in it again this time around, he would have broken Hulk Hogan's long-standing record. Sadly, that is now extremely unlikely.

Back in October 2018, Reigns revealed to the world that he is battling leukemia. He has naturally been off of WWE television ever since. However, every now and again we receive updates from some of the wrestlers he is close friends with. Braun Strowman has become the latest of those to deliver positive news about The Big Dog. WrestlingNews.co caught up with The Monster recently and Reigns was one of the topics of discussion.

Strowman revealed that Reigns is "doing really well" and is currently on vacation in Hawaii with his family. The Monster Among Men also said that he trusts everything Reigns tells him, so if he says he feels well then he believes him. While the two are enemies on screen, it's plain to see that they are good friends behind the scenes. Strowman has credited Reigns on a number of occasions for helping him become a better wrestler.

Although Reigns likely won't be back in time for WrestleMania, the whole wrestling world has its collective fingers crossed when it comes to his comeback in the future. Nothing is guaranteed, but as Reigns revealed during his emotional promo, he has beaten leukemia once before and intends to do so again. One thing is for certain, if and when he does come back to WWE, the crowd pop he gets will be massive.
