Brock Lesnar and Becky Lynch already know who they will be defending their title against at Summerslam.

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were tasked with defending their titles in the same match at Extreme Rules. Should one of them be pinned, both would lose their championships. Rollins pinned Baron Corbin to win the match, so that did not end up happening. However, The Architect did not leave the PPV as Universal Champion. Brock Lesnar's Money In The Bank cash-in made sure of that.

Prior to Monday night's Raw, WWE revealed that Lesnar's SummerSlam opponent would be decided later that evening. 10 men would get the opportunity to earn a spot opposite The Beast Incarnate in what was quite rightly dubbed an All-Star Battle Royal. It was also announced that a four-way elimination match would take place to determine Lynch's SummerSlam opponent.

The women's match pitted Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Natalya, and Carmella against each other. Carmella was eliminated first, followed by Naomi, and then Nattie dispatched of Bliss to earn her spot at SummerSlam. She and Lynch, who have been friends outside the ring for a long time, then had an intense exchange as Nikki Cross helped Bliss back to the locker room. Lynch versus Natalya might not be the most glamorous match on paper, but it will be terrific between the ropes.

The battle royal was saved for the night's main event. Perhaps the most surprising thing of all was that Lesnar hung around for it, and watched from the stage as the match ensued. The final stages of the match included Rollins eliminating both Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. However, The Architect was then taken by surprise by Randy Orton who had managed to avoid elimination.

The two final competitors battled it out for a little longer and Rollins eventually won the match. That's probably for the best since the last time Orton battled Lesnar at SummerSlam, he was left in a pool of his own blood. Instead, we will get a WrestleMania rematch between Rollins and Lesnar. Will it be a repeat, or will The Beast add insult to injury and keep his third reign as Universal Champion going a little longer?
