Two weeks after capturing the men's Money in the Bank contract, Brock Lesnar won't be waiting around any longer to cash in his championship opportunity.

Paul Heyman took to Twitter and revealed that Lesnar will cash in and set up a match against Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

So any time over that tense three-hour span, The Beast Incarnate will cash in and try to take back the title he lost to Rollins at WrestleMania 35. We'll just have to sit back and wait anxiously throughout the night for Lesnar to arrive with the briefcase.

For the third time in four years, the men's Money in the Bank winner will spend very little time waiting around to cash in. Dean Ambrose won the briefcase in 2016, and he cashed in on the night of to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship over Rollins. A year later, Baron Corbin won it and waited just two months before cashing it in against Jinder Mahal in a losing effort.

Last year, Braun Strowman won it and waited a little longer months before cashing it in for a Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell - three months after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. That match ended in a no contest ruling after interference from Lesnar.

Once again, WWE is getting the MITB cash-ins out of the way early. This year's women's Money in the Bank winner, Bayley, cashed in on the night of and defeated Charlotte Flair to become the new SmackDown Women's Champion. Alexa Bliss pulled off the same stunt last year, defeating Nia Jax to win the Raw Women's title not long after winning the briefcase.

What This Means

Rollins is currently booked to face Baron Corbin at Super ShowDown, but if Lesnar has a successful cash-in, then he'll face the former Raw constable instead. It's going to be a very interesting of Raw, and Lesnar's cash-in should help bring ratings back up for at least another week.
