Amanda Huber, the wife of the late AEW and WWE legend Jonathan Huber (aka, Brodie Lee/Luke Harper), has revealed that her son Brodie Jr. is only allowed to participate in AEW shows when he's performing well in school.

Amanda took to Instagram to share a video of Brodie and his younger brother Nolan unboxing the latest line of AEW action figures. One fan left a comment in which he theorized that Brodie's recent absence from AEW programming was due to his schooling.

"100% He stopped doing his work so he lost privileges," Amanda replied. "I don’t make any money off any appearances he does at AEW, it’s purely for fun. It’s his favorite place in the world and a reward for hard work. He managed to finish his school year with all A’s & B’s despite slipping up a bit. I’m very proud of him," she concluded.

AEW signed Brodie Jr. to a contract in the wake of his father's tragic passing back in December of 2020. Following Huber's death, Brodie Jr. became the de facto leader of Huber's cult, The Dark Order, and was assigned the monicker -1.

At the time, Amanda Huber clarified her son's contract situation on Instagram.

"His contract with AEW is valid on his 18th birthday *if* he chooses to wrestle," she wrote. "Nobody is going to push it with him. If you were to spend 10 minutes talking to him you’d understand why they gave him a contract though."

Brodie Jr. began appearing on AEW programming with some regularity after the Jon Huber memorial edition of AEW Dynamite which aired shortly after Huber passed away. As you might recall, AEW president Tony Khan also retired the original design of the TNT Championship to honor the memory of Huber, who held the title for a time during his AEW tenure.
