Daniel Bryan's first feud since being cleared for a return to the ring took place against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, whom he and Shane McMahon defeated at WrestleMania 34.

Owens and Zayn then moved over to Monday Night Raw via the Superstar Shake-Up, and Bryan has since been in a feud with Big Cass - who recently returned from a torn ACL injury sustained in August.

The Bryan-Big Cass feud hasn't gained all that much steam, and the latter got into trouble with officials after going off-script when he beat up a little person that was posing as Bryan.

According to a rumor from Cageside Seats, the Bryan and Cass feud is continuing on because "WWE doesn't want to rush," the former's pending rivalry with The Miz. On top of that, there isn't anybody else "lined up," to feud with Bryan as he nears a storyline with The Miz.

So even though WWE fans may be anxious for Bryan and Miz to begin their long overdue rivalry, it looks like this beef with Cass isn't over just yet. The Miz has already built up their pending feud well, calling Bryan a "coward," and saying he "doesn't belong in the same ring," as the eight-time Intercontinental Champion.

And let's not forget this epic Talking Smack promo between Bryan and The Miz two years ago, which took place just months after the former had to retire following a series of concussions and other brain-related injuries.

The Miz is easily the best trash talker on the mic in the WWE today, while Bryan is arguably the most beloved superstar in the world. As such, their rivalry promises to be something of epic proportions.

But unfortunately for the WWE Universe, company officials don't seem to mind waiting it out. So for the time being, try your best to enjoy Bryan's beef with Big Cass, even if it hasn't been all that exciting.
