A venue out of Sacramento California may have spoiled future plans for The Fiend when they tweeted something WWE may not have wanted out there.

According to the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend, will be challenging either Braun Strowman or Seth Rollins to a match for the Universal Championship at Hell in a Cell. For those that aren't aware, Hell in a Cell will be the next big WWE pay-per-view that follows Clash of Champions.

The connection between the Fiend and Hell in a Cell makes some sense considering the demonic nature of the new character. That said, this is a pretty quick jump to the top of the totem pole for The Fiend and a quick move back into the title scene considering he's only wrestled one official match since re-debuting under the new gimmick.

In an advertisement that hit social media on Tuesday, the venue wrote, "Get ready @WWE fans... “The Fiend” @WWEBrayWyatt challenges @WWERollins or @BraunStrowman to a match!"

Rollins and Strowman are set to meet up in a match at Clash of Champions. This will come on the same night they defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler. Meanwhile, there are no future in-ring plans for Wyatt who has been making cameos on Raw and taking out WWE Legends without much rhyme or reason as to why.

But, fans are loving the new character and will probably be excited to see him get a title shot when his old character wasn't getting much of an opportunity. One can only hope WWE isn't rushing the use of the character and giving it too much too soon.

What This Means

We all know WWE events and cards are subject to change. Just this past Monday, Wyatt was advertised to appear live but only had a video show on the program. Maybe WWE will look at this ad and wonder if putting The Fiend in the hunt for the Universal Championship is wise considering how popular he seems to be without a belt.

Then again, maybe they won't.
