John Cena and Nikki Bella ended their six-year relationship last month and called off their wedding - which was supposed to take place in Mexico earlier this month.
But there's good news for fans of the wrestling power couple. According to a report from PEOPLE, a source told them that Bella and Cena are "basically back together." The source also added it "was never really about ending their relationship— it was about calling off a wedding because something didn’t feel right."
TMZ Sports had reported over the weekend that Cena and Bella had been spotted together in San Diego. On top of that, another report from Us Weekly said that Bella was still leaving in Cena's apartment, as he didn't want her to move out "after everything they've been through."
Though the couple had been together for a while and looked extremely happy, it was well-known that Cena was reluctant to get married again. That was a burden in their relationship, but he backed away from that refusal and proposed to her at WrestleMania 33.
It had also been reported that Cena didn't want to have kids with Bella, but the source that talked to PEOPLE said he's "changed his stance on having children," now. The source also told them that they will be married next year, and that they'll be having a child.
This is a massive turn of events, considering how short the breakup was. Many power couples need to spend significant time apart before reconciling. Bella and Cena had also both talked to news outlets to detail the heartbreak they were going through, but it obviously didn't last long.
Not long after the breakup, Cena had said he was still hoping to marry Bella and have children with her. Assuming the couple are back together, then it looks like the 16-time World Champion will get his wish.
