Cesaro and Daniel Bryan may have given the two best promos of the year so far when they made an appearance on Talking Smack this week. While this isn't new for Bryan, this was a massive step for Cesaro.

Both men are now competitors in the Elimination Chamber Match and both will get a shot to move on and face Roman Reigns for the Universal Title later that night. As they talked about what they'll do with that opportunity, Bryan was his typical A+-player promo self as he poked fun at Paul Heyman for working only to get his clients to wrestle as little as possible. He said Heyman should be concerned that he has Reigns on the "Brock deal" and then asked Cesaro if he would like a "Brock contract"? Cesaro said no, because he actually likes to wrestle. Bryan then testified for close to two minutes on the skills, heart and talent of a guy like Cesaro and how he's never once gotten a shot at a major championship.

Bryan went on to say that he's had plenty of chances to tell everyone how good he is, so he left the floor open to Cesaro to talk about himself.

Cesaro told Heyman he'd be honored to wrestle Bryan, but more than that, no matter who wins, Heyman knows his client is in trouble. If given the chance, Cesaro knows he'll win the Universal Championship and he's been wrestling night in and night out for more than 15 years because he loves it.

Cesaro May Have Given the Promo Of His Life

While it wasn't perfect, this promo by Cesaro was so much better and more emotional than any promo he's ever given since being hired in WWE. He said that no matter what opportunities he's gotten (or not gotten), he works hard and continues to fight, not only because he loves it, but because he believes in himself.

He told everyone at home to never let anyone tell you that you can't do something and that doing what you love matters. Doing it with integrity matters. Doing it with the right motives matters. He said he's doing his work the right way and he will be the Universal Champion.
