It looked like Cesaro suffered a pretty nasty injury on Raw last week. But apparently, it was just some seriously good acting.

Nothing angers anyone in the wrestling business more than someone outside looking in claiming it to be fake. That goes for both the wrestlers and the fans. Yes, almost all of us know that it isn't real per se, but it definitely isn't fake either. Choreographed, pre-determined, orchestrated are all words most in the business are okay with. Just don't call it fake.

So why do wrestlers and wrestling fans have such an aversion to the word fake? Well, because of the sacrifice the performers make inside the ring. The injuries they suffer and the punishment they put their bodies through is very real. Some people have lost their lives in the ring, while many more have died away from it due to the toll wrestling has taken on their minds and bodies.

When something happens inside the ring that isn't supposed to, more seasoned fans tend to pick up on it. We appeared to have had one of those moments on Raw last week. Ricochet landed his 630 on Cesaro to win the match. However, he didn't land it quite as smoothly as he normally does. Everything that happened after made it seem as if the high-flier had really hurt The Swiss Cyborg.

Cesaro was helped from the ring. Ricochet even looked concerned for a split second before realizing that he had a job to do. However, it has since been reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter that although Cesaro was hurt, it is nothing to worry about. The seasoned pro simply saw an opportunity after realizing his opponent didn't land the move quite as he would have liked.

The art of selling in wrestling is often one that is overlooked. The ability to convey pain and heartbreak even if you aren't necessarily feeling it for real. We knew Cesaro had it in his locker, but we didn't realize quite how good a salesperson he really is. Here's hoping WWE hams up his "injury" tonight on Raw. Seems like the perfect way to continue the back and forth he and Ricochet have been having for the past few weeks.
