Charlotte Flair has been pulled from WWE's European tour to undergo dental surgery, after losing teeth in her match against Carmella during in Oberhausen, Germany, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

A fan tried taking a video with Charlotte, who said she couldn't smile because of lost teeth. The former SmackDown Women's Champion covered up her mouth and refused to show the wounds:

Per Meltzer, Charlotte returned home to get the dental surgery done and will then return to the tour. On her Instagram story, Charlotte revealed her new-look smile, as dentists were able to clean up the damage and make her teeth look perfect again.

It's been a week of bad luck for Charlotte, as she also has to undergo surgery for a ruptured implant and will be out for a brief period of time. Considering how she's been wrestling through the implant rupture and finished her match against Carmella with lost teeth, 'The Queen' deserves credit for being tough as nails.

Charlotte isn't the only WWE superstar to have recently lost teeth during a match. At the 2017 No Mercy pay-per-view, Cesaro's mouth hit a ring post, and he lost two front teeth. He underwent dental surgery and had braces put on his upper row of teeth, but has since worn a mouthguard to cover up them up.

Losing teeth is usually something done by hockey players, but WWE superstars like Charlotte and Cesaro are prime examples of just how tough wrestlers can also be. We wonder if more superstars will join the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and start wearing mouthguards during their fights.

Charlotte has injured a couple of accidents in the ring, but it hasn't stopped her from dominating in the ring. It's things like this that put her on track in being arguably the greatest female wrestler of all-time.
