After an indie wrestler named Justin jumped off the rope at the corner of the ring, he suffered devastating injuries by snapping both of his legs backward. The incident was so horrific that doctors are still trying to determine if they will need to amputate.

To help with Justin’s medical expenses. Chris Jericho, currently signed to AEW and NJPW, donated $2,000 to a GoFundMe campaign started by the wrestler’s Ashley, who says that her brother doesn’t have medical insurance. The fundraiser has currently raised $16,874 of a $200,000 target.

“That was so terrible!!!!!” Jericho told TMZ when asked why he decided to donate. Other AEW stars who have donated include Nick Massie, known as Nick Jackson in one half of the Young Bucks tag team, and Joey Janela.

Justin was on the rope before jumping to the ring floor when both of his knees gave out. According to Ashley, Justin has already undergone three surgeries and has several more scheduled. He already has rods and pins in his left leg, which Ashley told the Eric Zane Show is the biggest worry.

“It’s obviously cringeworthy for anybody, but to see it happen to someone you love so much and knowing that amputation is a huge possibility, it’s gut-wrenching,” Ashley said.

She also added, “Justin has been through so much physically in the last few days, on top of a recent custody battle, and losing his father this past Christmas. He will sincerely appreciate any contributions to alleviate this unfortunate financial burden. At very minimum, we simply ask you to pray for Justin.”

Two days ago, on the October 28, 2020, episode of Dynamite, Jericho and MJF agreed to wrestle each other at Full Gear during a confrontational Town Hall Meeting with Eric Bischoff, which if MJF wins, he will join Jericho's Inner Circle.
