Chris Jericho may be about to debut for pretty much the only major promotion he hasn't appeared for yet at this point, Impact Wrestling.

If you're not currently a WWE Superstar, then it would seem the second most sought-after position in pro wrestling today is that of a free agent. In fact, there are many men and women in the business right now who would probably prefer that second option. The one person who rocks free agent status better than anyone else? Chris Jericho, of course.

So far in 2018, Jericho has competed at Wrestle Kingdom for New Japan, won the company's Intercontinental Title, returned to WWE for a couple of appearances, and also made a shock run-in at All In last month. All of that and we haven't even included the fact that he has been touring the world with Fozzy and dropping a podcast twice a week, every week.

The only promotion Y2J hasn't been affiliated with in some way so far in 2018 is Impact Wrestling, but apparently, that is about to change. Y2J has been flirting with the idea of working with Impact, especially since he is friends with so many working at the company right now. Well, according to the Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast, Jericho may very well be at Impact's Bound For Glory PPV.

Bound For Glory is effectively Impact's version of WrestleMania, and will take place on October 14, 2018. The main event of the show will feature Austin Aries defending his Impact World Championship against Johnny Impact. How Y2J will feature on the show, if he does at all, is unclear as of right now. If he does, it would certainly help Impact continue on the upward trajectory it has been on recently.

Jericho did say earlier this year that he didn't want to compete or appear for non-WWE companies on US soil, hence only appearing in Japan for NJPW. However, that plan seems to have been thrown out the window following his appearance at All In. Now that he is a free agent and isn't tied to WWE it seems as if it's all systems go, and perhaps we will see the surefire Hall Of Famer appear in Impact this month.
