New All Elite Wrestling superstar Christian Cage might have gotten the ball rolling on a feud, having hinted as much during his debut on AEW Dynamite this Wednesday.

The veteran was revealed to be the big signing Big Show had teased after joining AEW himself, making his first appearance at Revolution on Sunday. He came up to the ring, signed his deal and headed back without uttering a single word.

The former WWE star was down to speak to Tony Schiavone on this week's show but the promotion's World Champion Kenny Omega took over affairs along with Don Callis and Impact World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers.

Omega and Callis gave a few jokes at the expense of Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston, prompting Kingston to get down to the ring himself. A melee would break out, with Christian heading in after.

He and Omega exchanged words before the champ stuck out his hand. Christian did not shake the outstretched hand, leading to Omega taking a swing at him. He ducked under it and was about to hit the newcomer with The Unprettier but Callis managed to pull him to safety.

Christian picked up Omega's championship belt and gave it a good, long stare before heading backstage.

Eyes on the Prize

Might Christian have his eyes on the AEW World Championship already? It's quite possible.

AEW boss Tony Khan did point out that the ex-WWE performer let him know he wants to be very much involved in the week-by-week occurrences and that could include a shot at the title. We'll just have to wait and see what happens, though.
