Christoper Daniels is one of the most famous independent wrestlers on the planet. Having been a part of the professional wrestling scenes for years, he had a small run in WWE as an enhancement talent but has made his name in TNA, New Japan, Ring of Honor, and other wrestling promotions where a lack of size but gifted in-ring skill are welcome.

This weekend, Daniels will be a part of the upcoming Supercard of Honor XII event, which will be an ROH produced show and takes place in New Orleans at the UNO Lakefront Arena. Daniels is set to face Flip Gordon and The Young Bucks as part of the SoCal Uncensored team with Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky.

In an exclusive interview with TheSportster, Daniels opened up about who he'd like to face in the future, and he's at a point where he'd like to give back.

"I think the things that remain are really just the wrestlers that I haven’t had the opportunity to work with. And there are two types of guys. There are guys that are just coming up and newer to the team that I’m going to get the opportunity to work with, and then there are guys that I never got to work with through the course of my career."

And, for all the time Daniels has been wrestling, there are a few guys he regrets not having a chance to work with. Saying he'd still like to work with wrestlers like Chris Jericho or Rey Mysterio.

"Then there are guys that I never got to work with through the course of my career. Guys like Chris Jericho or Rey Mysterio. Specifically, [these are] two guys whose work I’ve always enjoyed, looked up two and tried to emulate their success, the opportunities to work with either one of those guys would certainly be worth looking into for me."

Aside from his personal list of names, he knows as part of ROH, he's going to be relied on to have quality matches a number of new faces. He's up for the challenge.

"As part of Ring of Honor, with so many new guys coming into the company, at some point I’m going to have to wrestle all of them," he added. "That’s part of the game too, trying to be able to match up to someone much younger than me and use my experience to sort of offset the obvious advantage that comes with being younger, stronger, and faster."

Daniels understands where he and his experience fit into the equation. He explained, "We’re always looking for young up and coming talent to make their name on a national scale. And those guys are looking for opportunities wrestle guys like me to make their name. A good showing against me is a badge of accomplishment that guys are looking for sometimes. And that’s what’s ahead for me in Ring of Honor, stepping up against the best and brightest Ring of Honor has to offer."

You can check out Daniels and a ton of other ROH talent on Saturday, April 7, 2018 for Supercard of honor which starts at 8:30 p.m. EST, with the pre-show starting at 7:30 p.m. featuring the Women of Honor semi-final and a press conference featuring Kenny Omega and Cody on Ring of Honor's Facebook Live .
