CM Punk was told by Cody Rhodes that he was welcome at All In, but he and The Young Bucks never made an offer for him to be a part of the show.

The match card for All In was stacked and it delivered on pretty much every front. Cody Rhodes' NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship win, Kazuchika Okada versus Marty Scurll, the four-way women's match, all bouts that have a claim to being the match of the night and those weren't the only nominees.

Fans also got their hopes up that some surprise appearances would also make the event a memorable one. Some people actually convinced themselves that Kevin Owens might be in attendance. Five days prior to All In, KO 'quit' WWE in an angle that still doesn't really make any sense. Instead of being at All In, The Prizefighter merely returned to Raw a week later to attack Bobby Lashley.

Another wrestler many fans were expecting to see show his face at All In was CM Punk. The event did take place in Chicago after all. Plus, Punk did a signing at Pro Wrestling Tees over the weekend. Unfortunately, Punk was not at All In, and the former WWE Champion revealed on Ariel Helwani's MMA Show that Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks never made him an offer to be on the show, contrary to what The American Nightmare has said.

"I was never made an offer to be there. They said, 'if you want to come, you should come'," Punk explained to Helwani, "it was extremely vague. It wasn't an offer." Don't go blaming Rhodes and The Bucks for Punk's absence too quickly, though. The Second City Saint went on to say that movie commitments would have likely stopped him from attending All In anyway, and that nothing in wrestling currently interests him.

It has been more than four and a half years since Punk decided he'd had enough of wrestling and walked out of WWE never to return, at least up until this point. It has taken that long for fans to finally start giving up hope that he will ever return. There are even some who have completely turned on him upon hearing the news about his court case against former best friend Colt Cabana. Perhaps it is finally time for the pro wrestling community to leave Punk behind.
