Rumors and speculation are that AEW might be building toward a CM Punk appearance at All Out. If you believe Punk's twitter, expect to be let down.

While AEW tries to continually grow it's brand, adding big-name recognizable talent is going to be a key component for the new wrestling company. They've already added Jon Moxley, Dustin Rhodes, Tye Dillinger, and others and one name most fans are hoping to see join the group is CM Punk.

AEW is advertising a future pay-per-view called All Out that takes place from Chicago (Punk's home town) and as part of the marketing material, there are three stars around the name. Those three stars are identical to the ones synonymous with Punk's persona. That led fans to assume the subtle hint was the Punk would be at All Out.

While most of us assume we know or can logically put the pieces together, a fan took to Twitter and outright asked Punk. He said, "Are you gonna disappoint your fans by not show up at AEW?"

While the question wasn't written all that well, the gist was clear: would Punk be coming to AEW? The answer appears to be no.

Punk responded back to the follower who asked and said, "Yes". Meaning, fans would be disappointed when Punk didn't show.

What This Means

While Punk didn't officially say, "I will not be coming to AEW." Or, "I will not be at All Out", this should be enough for fans to finally understand that Punk isn't coming to AEW, probably not back to wrestling at all.

This is disappointing and there is a possibility Punk is lying to keep things a secret, but if the performer comes out and says he's not coming, I'll take his word for it over thinking that a few stars and a home base of Chicago mean he's a lock to show up.
